In this article, Poorer Health: The Persistent and Protean Connections Between Poverty, Social Inequality, and Child Well-Being, PolicyLab researchers examine the mechanisms by which low socioeconomic status impairs child health in order to inform policy efforts aimed at improving the well-being and outcomes of children.
