Clinical Research Assistant
As a Clinical Research Assistant at the Division of General Pediatrics, Sheyla coordinates projects that examine hospital-based care for child victims of abuse and neglect and health care operations through the lens of evidence-based management. Her previous research experience includes surveillance research at the World Health Organization, research on adolescents’ perceived discrimination for the Ronald E. McNair Post Baccalaureate Achievement program, and research on health beliefs and practices for the University of Pennsylvania Digital Partnerships with Indian Communities.
